In this short episode we drink a 15 year old single barrel
bourbon from MGPI and a 5 barrel blend of the Rossville Union and
Remus barrels our club Someone Say Whiskey tasted for two picks.
Pam started working for MGPI before she was old enough to
drink. This historic distillery has operated on this site
continuously (yes...even during prohibition) since 1847. She has
seen the company change hands 4 times, thought the plant was going
to shut down multiple times, and now is in a top level position as
master blender at a company that has only recently risen to
national conscientiousness. She has broken through the glass
ceiling in an industry that historically held talented women back.
